Residential
Quality residential wall construction includes starting from an accurate and complete design plan.
-
A professional plan means:
- Easier permitting approval with clear concise plans
- More accurate contractor proposals with fewer change orders
- Peace of mind that you will be constructing a long term wall system
-
Aspen provides:
- Topographical survey of the area to obtain accurate information
- Wall plan and elevation drawn to scale for ease of construction and visualization
- Construction details specific to the site
- Construction specifications to set minimum standards of performance for the contractor and inspectors
-
Owner to provide:
- Plot plan from a registered land surveyor
- The retaining wall unit that the design is to be based on. We recommend that the homeowner make a trip to the local hardscape dealer to view the various wall systems and appearances that are available.
-
Fee Structure:
- Aspen design fees have a minimum charge of $900 and $.60 per square foot of wall face for projects larger than 1300 sf. The price includes a topographical survey, wall design plans, copies necessary for permitting and pricing, phone consultation for construction questions as needed.
- Additional fees required for modification of the wall layout once the final design has been submitted. Fees based on hourly rates.
- Aspen can inspect the construction for additional fees. The fees vary based on the project requirements.
